Who we are and what this covers
The ITC Resource Center (the "Service") is a tractor-research site operated by TerraVox Manufacturing LLC, doing business as Innovative Tractor Components Company ("we," "us," or "our"), reachable at itcusa.com/resource. We publish tractor specifications, comparisons, videos, and buying guides, and we offer optional user accounts and an AI research assistant.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Service, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to the public Resource Center only. It does not cover our online store, our dealer tools, or any separate site or service that has its own privacy notice.
By using the Service you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. The Service is intended for a United States audience and for people 18 years of age or older (see Section 13).
The information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details. If you create an account, we collect your name and email address, and, for email and password sign-in, a password. Your password is stored in hashed (scrambled) form by our authentication provider, and we never see it in readable form. You can also sign in with Google, in which case Google shares your basic profile (name and email) with us.
- Things you ask Earl. The questions and messages you type into our AI assistant, so it can answer them.
- AI memory (optional). If you turn on Earl's memory, we store a short profile of preferences you have shared (for example, the size of tractor you are shopping for) to personalize answers. This stays off until you enable it, and you can clear it.
- Purchases. If you buy credits, we collect the details of your order (the pack you bought, the amount, the date, and a receipt). Your payment card is handled by our payment processor; see Section 8.
- Emails you request. If you email yourself a comparison, an Earl recap, or ask us to add a tractor model, we collect the email address you enter and the content being sent (such as the comparison or the chat transcript).
- Messages to us. If you report an error or contact us, we keep what you send so we can respond.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage and device data. Pages you view, links you click, the pages that referred you, and general device and browser information, collected through our own first-party analytics so we can understand what is useful and improve the site.
- Session identifiers. A random per-visit identifier stored in your browser (via local or session storage) to keep your session working and to group your activity within a visit.
- IP address and approximate location. Your IP address is processed when you connect. We generally do not store it in raw form for analytics or ads. Instead we convert it into a one-way "hashed" identifier used to prevent abuse, rate-limit requests, and cap how often you see the same ad. This hash cannot be reversed back into your IP.
- Anti-spam signals. On forms we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks whether a submission is likely automated.
Information from third parties
If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile as described above. We do not buy personal information about you from data brokers, and we do not enrich your profile with outside data.
We do not store sensitive personal information such as government IDs, full payment card numbers, precise geolocation, health, or biometric data on our own systems.
How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- provide the Service, including tractor specs, comparisons, videos, and articles, and to run your account and credits;
- answer your questions through Earl and, if enabled, personalize its responses;
- process purchases of credits and send receipts;
- send the emails you specifically request (a comparison, a recap, a model request);
- keep the Service secure by detecting and preventing abuse, spam, fraud, and automated attacks, and by enforcing rate limits;
- measure and improve the Service using aggregated, first-party analytics;
- select and measure ads based on page content (see Section 6); and
- comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles about you, and we do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you using automated processing alone.
Earl, our AI assistant
Earl is an optional AI feature that answers tractor questions. When you use Earl:
- Your messages are sent to a third-party AI provider (currently Anthropic) to generate a response. That provider processes your message to produce the answer and, under our agreement, does not use it to train its models.
- Memory is opt-in. Earl only remembers details about you if you turn memory on. You can view or clear that memory, and turning it off stops new memories from being saved.
- Free to start, then credit-based. You can ask a couple of questions without an account. After that we ask you to sign in, and new accounts receive a starting balance of free credits. You can buy more credits if you run out (see Section 8). Earl's answers are general information to help your research. They are not professional, legal, financial, or safety advice, and you should confirm anything important with the manufacturer or your dealer.
Cookies, storage, and tracking technologies
We keep tracking light and first-party:
- What we use: your browser's local and session storage to keep you signed in and to hold a per-visit analytics session identifier, plus the anti-spam check described above.
- What we do not use: we do not use Google Analytics, the Facebook or Meta Pixel, or any other third-party advertising or analytics trackers on the Resource Center, and we do not set third-party advertising cookies.
Because our analytics and advertising are first-party and do not share your data with outside trackers, there is nothing here that sells or shares your information through cookies. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or "Do Not Track" signal, there is no third-party sale or sharing for it to stop. We still honor GPC as an opt-out request where required by law (see Section 12).
Advertising
Some pages show ads, including ads for our own products and ads from third-party advertisers. Our advertising is contextual, not behavioral:
- Ads are chosen based on the page you are viewing (for example, the tractor make and model), not on a profile of who you are or your activity across other sites.
- To avoid showing you the same ad too many times, we use the one-way hashed identifier described in Section 2. This is not shared with advertisers.
- Advertisers receive aggregate performance information, such as how many times an ad was shown or clicked. They do not receive your name, email, IP address, or any identifier that singles you out.
- Ads are clearly labeled, for example "Sponsored" or "ITC Product."
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How and when we share information
We share information only in these situations:
- Service providers. Companies that run parts of the Service on our behalf, under contracts that limit them to that purpose: hosting (Vercel), our database and sign-in (Supabase), the AI provider for Earl (Anthropic), transactional email delivery (Resend), anti-spam (Cloudflare), and payment processing for credit purchases. Embedded videos are served by YouTube and Google when you play them.
- At your direction. When you email yourself or someone else a comparison or recap, we send it to the address you provide.
- Legal and safety. When we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms, or protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or us.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that deal. We will require the recipient to honor this Policy or notify you of any material change.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
Paid credits and payments
Earl runs on credits. You get free credits to start, and you can buy more in credit packs. When you make a purchase:
- Your card is handled by a third-party payment processor. You enter your payment details with that processor, which is certified to handle card data. We do not receive or store your full card number on our own systems. We keep a record of the order itself: what you bought, the amount, the date, and a token from the processor that lets us match the payment to your account.
- Auto-refill is optional. If you choose to turn on auto-refill, you authorize us and our processor to automatically charge your saved payment method to add more credits when your balance runs low. You can turn auto-refill off at any time in your account settings, and we will tell you before any change to how it works.
- Clarity before you pay. Prices, how many credits each pack includes, and what is free versus paid are shown before you check out. Credits are for using features of the Service and have no cash value.
If you have a question about a charge, contact us and we will help.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this Policy:
- Account information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, security, and record-keeping needs.
- Earl messages and optional memory until you clear them or close your account, subject to short-term backups.
- Purchase and billing records for as long as required by tax, accounting, and legal rules.
- Email-send records (such as a comparison you emailed) for a limited period to operate and troubleshoot the feature.
- Analytics and hashed identifiers in aggregated or de-identified form, which we may keep longer because they no longer identify you.
When we no longer need information, we delete it or de-identify it.
How we protect your information
We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encryption in transit, one-way hashing of passwords (handled by our authentication provider) and of abuse-prevention identifiers, access controls, and reputable infrastructure and payment providers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information. If a security breach ever affects your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.
Your choices and rights
No matter where you live, you can:
- Access or correct your account information from your account settings, or by contacting us.
- Delete your account and information. To request deletion, email us at privacy.team@itcusa.com from the address on your account and we will delete your account and associated personal information, except anything we are required to keep by law (such as purchase records).
- Manage Earl's memory from within the assistant: view it, clear it, or turn it off.
- Control emails. We only send emails you request, so there is no marketing list to unsubscribe from. Transactional emails you request are one-time sends.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
California privacy rights (CCPA and CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, gives you specific rights. This section is your notice at collection and your rights disclosure.

Your California rights
- Know or access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Delete personal information we have collected from you, with limited legal exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. You may still submit a request, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals.
- Limit use of sensitive personal information. The only sensitive personal information we handle is your account login credentials, which we use solely to sign you in and secure your account. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, so this right does not apply.

Children's privacy
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. You must be 18 or older to create an account or use interactive features. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links and embeds
The Service links to and embeds third-party content, most notably YouTube videos, along with links to manufacturer sites, dealers, and our own store. When you interact with that content, the third party's own privacy practices apply. Playing an embedded YouTube video, for example, involves Google. We do not control these third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
Where information is processed
We operate in the United States, and our providers process information in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
