An owner-operator's real repair walkthrough prompted by actual power-loss symptoms on a Mahindra 4550. It covers both the pre-filter (bowl-style with a 13mm drain bolt) and the main spin-on fuel/water-separator filter in sequence, including the petcock shutoff, battery disconnect, correct gasket placement, and the easy-to-forget step of pre-filling the new filter with diesel.
