Read articles →This is a real hands-on hydraulic fluid and filter change on a John Deere 5055D at 942 hours, not a scripted demo. The owner drains the transmission, pulls the drain plug, removes and inspects the small filter screen for metal debris, refills roughly 10 gallons of hydraulic oil, and bleeds air by running the steering and three-point hitch while watching the sight glass. Good for 5055D owners doing their own service and wanting a realistic, slightly uncertain walkthrough rather than a polished tutorial.
